Jessica Angel is a Colombian-born artist based in New York. She just finished a site specific installation with Strongroom Inc, a non profit organization that fosters the activation of local collaboration and public engagement based in Newburgh, NY. She recently completed a Studios at MASS MoCA Artist Residency and a solo exhibition at the School of Visual Arts’ CP Projects Space. In 2016 she developed two large projects with 516 Arts where she was a recipient of the VAN Residency. She was awarded the Teaching-Artist Residency at The Cooper Union, as well as the BRIC Media Arts Fellowship in 2012. Her work has been exhibited across the Americas.
